“The Believer” - Common ft. John Legend (Prod. by No I.D)

Inspiration is the first thing you’ll mention when bringing up Common’s The Dreamer/The Believer due for release on December 20th, but could anybody really say that will be enough to drive an entire album? “The Believer” could easily be compared to the previously released “Blue Sky”, whilst although continuing a streak of solid tracks, doesn’t inflict quite the impact needed to compare, let alone keeps its place on my playlist for longer than a day. No I.D remains a flawless machine in the world of production, and whilst the John Legend feature, well written lyrics and exceptional vocals may be enough to entice others, I’m gonna need a lot more than inspiration to save that Mid-December release date.
