Childish Gambino - “Firefly” (Official Music Video)

Regarded as one of the most underrated albums of 2011, it’s a relief to see that debut album Camp was far from the last sighting of the multi-talented rapper/writer/actor/comedian Donald Glover. Fast forward half a year since a flurry of mixed reviews, a 1.6/10 (courtesy of Pitchfork) and a month since the release of Gambino’s Royalty Mixtape, and such seems but a bittersweet memory as every track dropped finds itself lighting up the blogosphere. 

Revisiting one of his more upbeat tracks from last year, H5C a.k.a High 5 Collective have managed to direct one hell of a visual. Fusing the likes of that which is overtly cheesy to the point of heroism, Gambino’s “Firefly” is definitely worth checking out above.
